We are a registered charity run by volunteer parents and carers raising money to fund facilities and equipment to supplement the core education at the school.
The PTA exists to fund facilities and equipment to supplement the core education at the school.
In recent years we have made substantial grants to the school to pay for:
a minibus;
replacement stage curtains in the drama department; and
the new food trailer for additional lunch options; and
many smaller purchases of equipment and materials to make school life better in a variety of ways
In the school year 2022/23, with the amazing support of parents, carers and teachers, we have raised £1,000 from the Christmas hamper raffle and over £2,000 overall, and have provided refreshments and met parents, carers and staff at:
Battle of the Bands
the Christmas concert
the school production of Footloose
the Summer Show
the Wheatley Soul Band concert
All parents, carers and staff are already part of what the PTA does, but we always welcome help from those of you who feel able to help a bit more, in what ever way you can, whether by giving time, money, skills, or joining us at an event
