The PTA exists to fund facilities and equipment to supplement the core education at the school
We're a small charity for the benefit of all students at WPS
• Ultimately, we want to enhance the educational provision at WPS beyond the basics provided by the government
• Three charity trustees and a committee of supporters and helpers form the PTA, managing all legal and governance aspects of the charity
• All parents, carers and staff at the School can work together to organise and deliver fundraising events throughout the year.
You can join us and help by:
• volunteering and encouraging friends to volunteer at our events
• asking family and friends to support the PTA charity
• letting your employer know about us in case they want to support us, our current appeals or organise a fundraiser themselves for our benefit
• organising your own fundraising events, from car boots sales and raffles to bake sales and sports challenges – you name it!
• attending our events – we want to create opportunities to meet up and build community
Wheatley Park School PTA is a registered charity (Charity Number 1201391) with Trustees who are all parents and carers, a Core Volunteer Team who lead various activities and EVERYONE in the School community can get involved by volunteering, donating, joining in and suggesting ideas.
